HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF MIDLAND ANNOUNCES 2008 MIDLAND HOME AND GARDEN SHOW

February 2008: The Midland Home and Garden Show will be February 29, March 1 and 2, held at Hangtime Sports, 1321 E. Wackerly Road, just off US-10 at the Stark Road exit. The annual home show features over 100 exhibitors and 180 booths of home improvement ideas, lawn and garden care and housing-related products and services. There will be popular consumer seminars including an ABC’s of Remodeling seminar covering many aspects of the remodeling process. The HBA of Midland’s award-winning Builder Reader Program for children will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Register to win a 42” Plasma TV grand prize. Admission to the Home and Garden Show is $4.00- adult, seniors- $3.00 and children under 17 are free. Hours are Friday, February 29- 4 p.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, March 2, noon-5 p.m. Food service is available. New Faces at Wolverine Bank

Stephanie Hauman, CPA, has recently been hired as a Commercial Loan Officer for Wolverine Bank. Her focus will be working with new and existing customers to develop sound commercial loan strategies. Hauman most recently worked as a Staff Accountant at Yeo & Yeo, Saginaw, Michigan. She has also held the position of Staff Accountant at Andrews Hooper & Pavlik P.L.C., in Saginaw, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She is also a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.

Carrie E. (Mantle) Ketchum has joined the Wolverine Bank Deposit team as a Personal Banker. She will be responsible for assisting new and existing customers in optimizing their banking services. Her role will also include presenting customers with the latest products and technologies. Ketchum, a Midland native, recently relocated to the tri-city area after living in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for The Upjohn Company. Carrie was born in Saginaw, Michigan, graduated from Midland High School and attained her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University.
