Wolverine Bank is excited to be bringing Midland resident Joe Kchodl, better known as “PaleoJoe”, to the Frankenmuth area as part of its “Discover What’s In Your Own Backyard” event series.
PaleoJoe is an award winning paleontologist, author and storyteller who has proven to provide an entertaining and informative experience for all ages. He has partnered with Wolverine Bank to share his experiences as a dinosaur hunter with citizens of the Great Lakes Bay Region. Wolverine has sponsored several events to date including Digging Dinosaurs and Other Fossil Facts, local book fairs, and holding a Fossil Identification and Dinosaur Bone Cleaning session where visitors were invited to bring in their favorite fossils.
The Frankenmuth event will include a 30 minute presentation where PaleoJoe will share the story of his most recent discovery of a 60-foot-long camerasaurus in Utah as well as a few secrets on digging fossils right here in our own state. The presentation will be followed by a Fossil Identification session in which visitors of all ages are encouraged to bring in their favorite fossil finds. Visitors will also get the chance to see and touch real dinosaur bones!
