SHEETS ELECTED TO WOLVERINE BANK BOARD OF DIRECTORS

J. Donald SheetsMidland, Michigan – J. Donald Sheets, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer and Americas Area President for Dow Corning Corporation will join Wolverine Bank’s Board of Directors as a Consulting Director in June. Sheets will continue his duties at Dow Corning.

Don began his career at Dow Corning in 1982. He has held a variety of management and professional positions in Accounting, Finance and Marketing throughout the years. In 1993, he began a long association with the electronics industry, holding a variety of commercial management positions. By 1999 he was named an Electronics Industry Director. In 2001, Don was named General Manager for Web Business and led the company’s efforts to grow in the Internet business sector. He was named Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for Dow Corning Corporation in 2003 and Americas Area President in 2005.

An alumnus of Albion College, Sheets earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and management and went on to earn his master’s of business administration in operations management from the University of Michigan.

LOCALLY-OWNED BANK PAYS HOMAGE
TO TENURED EMPLOYEES

Midland, Michigan – Wolverine Bank honors three employees and two board members for significant years of service to the company. The honorees are: Sylvia Moreau, Sandra Westphal and Richard Reynolds for 20 years; William C. Schmidt for 15 years; Elaine Hansen for 10 years. Wolverine Bank also congratulates Frank H. Brod, Karen Lazzaro and Tracy Wissel for five years of service.

Moreau began her career with Wolverine Bank in 1985 as a Customer Service Representative in the Frankenmuth office. She led the Frankenmuth team for many years as Customer Service Supervisor before semi-retiring a few years ago.

Westphal also began at Wolverine Bank in 1985. She currently works directly with commercial lending customers as a loan processor/closer. A recipient of the Bank of America Banking Award from Delta College, Westphal has an associate’s degree in Business Management.

Sandra Westphal

Reynolds, a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors, is President of MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland and Executive Vice President of MidMichigan Health. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Michigan State University. He is a CPA and a Fellow in the Health Care Financial Management Association. Mr. Reynolds is also very active in community affairs through the Midland Area Chamber of Commerce, Director and Financial Vice President & Treasurer of the Strosacker Foundation, a past Director of the United Way of Midland County, past President of the Credit Bureau of Midland County, and a past Director and Treasurer of the Midland Area Community Foundation.

Richard M. Reynolds

Schmidt, who currently serves as the Chairman of Wolverine Bank’s Board of Directors, is retired from the Dow Chemical organization after 37 years as Assistant Controller of The Dow Chemical Co., and CFO of Dow AgroScience. He earned is undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration from the University of Michigan. He has a long record of community involvement including serving as Regent of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Treasurer of the American Health Council as well as director and past chairman of MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland.

William C. Schmidt

Hansen is the Internal Auditor for Wolverine Bank. She has received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance and Minor in Economics.
